Land
Acknowledgement

We acknowledge that our work as doulas takes place on the traditional territories of Indigenous peoples. We recognize and respect the histories, cultures, and contributions of the Indigenous communities who have been stewards of this land for thousands of years.
We specifically acknowledge the lands of the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee, and other Indigenous nations. We honour their resilience, wisdom, and ongoing connection to this land.
As settlers, we commit to learning, listening, and supporting Indigenous-led initiatives, and to advocating for Indigenous rights and self-determination. We strive to create a practice that is respectful, inclusive, and supportive of all families, and we are committed to ongoing education and growth in this area.
